Buy a domain with crypto
USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum or Zcash into a dedicated address; dollar credit out. No bank sits in the middle, and no processor learns what you run.
Crypto is the only way in, on purpose
Card payments are the reason registrars know who you are. A processor requires a billing name and address, a bank attaches a real identity to the account, and the registrar inherits all of it whether or not it wanted the liability. Remove the card and the entire chain of identity disappears with it.
So Offbook takes crypto and nothing else. Your account holds a dollar credit balance, and purchases draw against it. You are not paying per-transaction on-chain fees for every DNS change or renewal — you fund once and spend down.
What we accept
Each account is issued its own addresses. These are not shared deposit addresses with a memo or tag to get wrong — the address itself identifies the account.
| Asset | Networks | Credited |
|---|---|---|
| USDC | Solana, Base, Ethereum | 1:1 — one USDC is one dollar |
| ETH | Base, Ethereum | At the fill price on confirmation |
| BTC | Bitcoin | At the fill price on confirmation |
| ZEC | Zcash (transparent) | Credited by the operator on confirmation |
Practical notes
Send only the asset an address lists
Each address accepts specific assets on specific networks, and the desk states which beside every one. A wrong-asset send cannot be credited.
Zcash must be transparent
Deposits go to a transparent t-address. A shielded send is, by construction, not something a watcher can see and attribute — so it cannot be credited.
One EVM address covers three chains
The same address receives USDC and ETH on Base and Ethereum. That is a property of how EVM addresses work, not a shortcut on our side.
Common questions
What cryptocurrencies can I pay with?
USDC on Solana, Base and Ethereum; native ETH on Base and Ethereum; Bitcoin; and Zcash. Every account gets its own dedicated address on each chain — they are not shared deposit addresses with a memo field.
USDC credits one-for-one: one USDC is one dollar of credit, with no spread and no conversion step. ETH, BTC and ZEC post at the fill price when the transfer confirms.
What do you log?
Activity is not recorded. There is no history of what you searched, what you resolved, or what you pointed a record at — which means there is no such history to leak, sell, or be compelled to produce.
What necessarily exists is the ledger: the deposits that funded the account and the purchases that drew it down, because that is the account balance itself.
What happens if my balance is too low?
Nothing is bought and nothing is charged. Every paid action is quoted before it runs, and if the credit does not cover the quote the call is refused with a 402 — there is no overdraft and no card to fall back on.
